PHPDEV is a Ukrainian WordPress development company: since 2016 we’ve been designing and building websites on WordPress — from single landing pages to catalogs and portals with hundreds of thousands of records.

Every project starts with choosing a format. Landing pages, company websites and online stores come in fixed plans with prices — you’ll find them on each type’s page. For each of them we recommend custom WordPress development instead of a ready-made theme: the site then loads only what it needs and can be properly optimized for speed. Everything else — calculators, integrations, portals, plugins — is estimated individually.

What people ask before we start

How much does a website cost?

Landing pages, company websites and online stores have published prices — on the Services page and on each type’s page, along with what’s included in every option. We name the exact amount after the brief and fix it in the contract, so the final invoice doesn’t differ from what we agreed on. Calculators, portals, plugins and other custom projects are estimated only after a call.

How long does development take?

A landing page takes from 1 week. A corporate website — from 2 weeks. An online store — from 3 weeks. The timeline starts once the structure is approved: projects most often stall not on development but on waiting for copy and photos. You see interim results on a staging domain throughout the work, not on the last day.

Will we be able to edit the website ourselves?

That’s the core idea behind how we build. A page consists of blocks, and each one is configured with its own fields: heading, text, image, order of sections. A new page can be assembled from ready-made blocks in an hour — without coding and without us. The layout doesn’t depend on text length, so nothing breaks because you changed a heading or added a paragraph.

Can we start without final copy and photos?

Yes, that doesn’t block the start: we build the structure and design on drafts. But the final content affects the timeline — a website doesn’t launch with placeholder text instead of copy and grey boxes instead of photos. The sooner you hand over the materials, the closer the launch stays to the original date; we discuss this dependency at the estimate stage so it doesn’t become an unpleasant surprise later.

What if we find issues after launch?

You have a month after launch to calmly check the website in action and send us fixes. Everything that’s part of the original agreement we fix free of charge. This warranty covers what was built: new features and sections that weren’t in the agreed scope are billed separately. That’s fair to both sides — you don’t pay for our mistakes, and we don’t rebuild the project twice for the same price.

Who will own the website and the access?

You do — from day one. The domain and hosting stay registered to you, and after launch we hand over all access: the admin panel, hosting and email. The website runs on standard WordPress without homemade add-ons, so any developer can pick it up — even if one day you decide to work with someone else.
